At Englischhausen we are aware of the difficulties that German students have trying to learn English.  There are time barriers, method barriers, geographic barriers, administrative barriers, cost barriers and also perhaps most significantly of all - there are psycholgical barriers; all of which can prevent us from achieving our goals.  Our ground-breaking courses are designed to address these issues, and are based on a tried and tested model that has helped over 10,000 students in Spain.  Even though our model has evolved over the last 10 years and now focuses specifcally on German students, our original goal is at the heart of what we do; to deliver more than just English, and to bring it closer than ever before.

The Pueblo Ingles course was created in Spain in the year 2000 by the Pueblo Ingles - More than English group as a complimentary tool to traditional English teaching methods.  Many Spaniards had reported that their hundreds of hours of traditional class did not prepare them for putting their language skills into practice at business meetings and conference calls.  The frustration and anxiety that they felt while trying to express themselves had to be addressed.  As a result two business partners, one in the English language industry and another a financial expert, launched Pueblo Ingles - a residential English immersion program in Spain.

The residential courses have grown into new venues around Spain and have also included sporadic courses in Italy and special edition versions for teachers, doctors and university students.  In 2010 the Pueblo Ingles - More than English group ran over 75 such immersion programmes in Spain, in addition to a range of other services including residential grammar courses, workshops, teen courses, kids events, Masters in English course, radio service, business e-magazine and an on-line English classes.

The course arrives as Englishhausen in Germany in 2011, with the first course scheduled for the month of July at a
venue in the heart of the Black Forest.     It is an an 'open' course, meaning that it is available to all types of professionals.  The Anglo instructors will be of mixed profiles - from a diverse range of professional backgrounds.  The course content has been slightly adjusted to focus especially on common problems experienced by German learners of English.

You can see in the diagram above how the program has continually expanded its reach since its beginning in 2001.  The hotels used by Pueblo Ingles meet our strict set of quality guidelines, and the sites and surrounding areas are ideally suited to this type of course.  After ten years years, 500 courses, 10.000 students and 20.000 visitors in Spain (and Italy), this unique course arrives in Germany in 2011.
